ASK YOUR LOVED ONES TO LEAVE LIBYA NOW!

To those who still have loved ones in Libya: Ask them to leave NOW!

And I mean WHEREVER THEY ARE in Libya, even if they’re far from Benghazi where bombings by Western nations have started.

If necessary, join forces and MONITOR ROUND THE CLOCK government efforts to get all our kababayans out of Libya. News reports quote government officials as saying 90 percent of our people have gotten out of Libya.

Verify these for yourselves and demand a DETAILED BRIEFING on exactly what is being done to bring them all home, including the remaining 10 percent.

With US, British and French military action underway, and Ghadafi’s persistence to attack rebels against his rule, NOBODY can tell HOW FAR and HOW VICIOUS hostilities will go.

So ask them not to wait first for ground, or house-to-house, fighting before they finally get out of Libya. If you have to, beg them not wait first for the violence to reach their location before they leave.

Tell them it’s their safety, NOW, that’s IMPORTANT. If it’s the future that they’re worried about, remind them that can always come back once peace returns to Libya.

Bombs and missiles may be guided, yes. But their controllers will never know 100 percent if indeed there are no civilians in their targets.

And the shrapnels from the bombs and missiles can strike anywhere after the impact. The shrapnels CAN’T BE GUIDED.  So what if, God forbid, your loved ones get killed or wounded in the bombings, in the fighting?

Who’s to blame? Who will be the biggest loser? Whose future will be shattered? Definitely, not that of your neighbors. This is not a panic button. I’m just being realistic. I’d rather not see anybody go through the proverbial “nasa huli ang pagsisis” crisis.

Better safe than sorry., Two of our friends on “METRO MANILA, LAGUNA, CAVITE, BULACAN, RIZAL RESIDENTS READ THIS!” :

MERIT SALUD of Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA:

Sang ayon ako sa obserbayon mo. Kayat tayong mga mensahero ng balita ay dapat matuwid, malinaw at ganap ang pagbigay ng mga instructions. Dahil marami rin sa atin ang ugaling Catalino Dipadaig,  na alam ang lahat maliban doon sa dapat niyang malaman! Kailangan magkagulo muna bago magkaintindihan! And that eats time and becomes a dangerous problem during an emergency.

DANILO PAREDES SR. of Dammam, Saudi Arabia:

Sa ating mga nakakaunuwa sa pagpahalaga at pagiingat sa inang kalikasan: Dapat paratingin sa mga kinauukulan na turoan ang mga mamayan ng mga information sa mga bagay na pwedeng pagkakitaan maliban sa pagwasak ng kalikasan.

For OFWs from one of our friends who asked to be called only as MARIA CRISOSTOMO IBARRA:

Mga paa ko'y di maihakbang,
Dahil pangarap inagaw ng halimaw,
Sa bandang dako tinanaw mahal kong bayan,
Bakit kailangan ako ay lumisan,
Kasama ang lungkot sa malayo'y tumanaw.

Let me just repeat something I’ve said several blogs ago. I will no longer come out with blogs from anonymous senders. This is because I was cursed by an anonymous sender when I wrote our blog warning devotees of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo following the discovery of two grenades two buildings away from the church. I hope everybody will understands. Thanks and God bless us all.
