HIDDEN AGENDA IN RABUSA PLUNDER RAPS!

I see a HIDDEN AGENDA in the plan of former military budget officer Jorge Rabusa to file plunder charges against two former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chiefs and former military comptroller Carlos Garcia.

Legally, Rabusa is not the principally aggrieved party in his exposes. It’s the AFP, whose monies he says were either pocketed or illegally diverted or disbursed.

But the AFP has not yet lifted a finger on any of their former bosses who are being accused by Rabusa of irregularities. There are no indications that it would, anytime soon.

UMAMIN din si Rabusa na siya man ay NAGBULSA rin ng pera ng AFP noong KASANGKOT pa siya sa mga anomalya na sinasabi niya.

So why is the AFP not pursuing any action, civil or criminal, against Rabusa considering his admission of guilt?

The Department of Justice has not yet declared plans to sue for plunder any of the people Rabusa has accused of. But neither has it declared opposition, or support, to Rabusa’s plan.

Bahala si Rabusa sa buhay niya sa kabila ng bigat ng mga binulgar niya.

And most of all, why is Rabusa in a rush to file plunder charges? Why can’t he wait for the Government, or the AFP, to do it?

I’m not saying that the accused should not be charged. By all means, throw the books at anybody who deserves it at the soonest possible time. Just don’t do it in pursuit of vested interests.

One more thing, Rabusa should not be immune from prosecution even though he is a whistleblower. He deserves leniency, yes.

CAS MAYOR JR. of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on “House tolerating drug users with Singson case”:

What can we expect from these so-called (law) makers cum lawbreakers? They did not go to Congress for any noble purpose. They found politics to be a good business with no capital but (their) saliva and a mask to hide their insidious intent. The upright do not stay long in Congress. It's better to stay out of their zarzuela lest you become a partner in their crimes.

ATTORNEY BERTENI CAUSING of Manila on “Relieve DFA, DOLE personnel in Libya”:

The problem begins with the OWWA law, amended by RA 8042, or the Migrant Workers Act that was further amended. It does not specify that a part of the $25 fee paid by every departing OFW must be kept in trust and should not be touched except for emergencies like this. What has been happening since OWWA began is that the funds out of the contributions paid for every OFW contract has been converted to other funds and placed in investments that are highly risky to begin with.

  1. wag mo na kalkalin ang mga sinasabi mong hidden agenda na yan. ang mahalaga ay ang "hayag" na agenda, which is to shed light to the truth and to bring the plunderers to the bar of justice. at the end of the day, it will be the people, the whole country, who will benefit from the truth. not just the brave souls who are risking their lives dancing with death to expose the culprits. mabuti pa nga si rabusa, he found his better conscience at umamin sa pagkakasala. di gaya ni gloria arroyo who has to slide down to congresswoman hoping to protect herself from prosecution. lalo naman si reyes who has to kill himself to avoid embarassment and shame. can you imagine, umiwas siya sa kawali, nasugba naman siya sa mga baga ng kamatayan at impieyerno.
