ABUSADO, SINUNGALING SI TRILLANES!

ABUSADO at SINUNGALING pala ttong si Sen. Antonio Trillanes.

After categorically naming former Armed Forces chief Angelo Reyes as the powerful person behind plunder suspect Carlos Garcia, Trillanes now says it’s not the late ex-military boss after all.

Obviously saving face from the attacks he has been getting lately, Trillanes now claims Reyes was not the same person Garcia had identified as the one the plunder suspect was fronting for.

For those who missed it, Trillanes had HUMILIATED Reyes in a TELEVISED Senate hearing. Reyes was told by Trillanes that he HAD NO REPUTATION to protect when he tried to question the witness accusing him of anomalies.

In TOTAL DISREGARD of FAIR PLAY, Trillanes refused to allow Reyes to confront the witness, retired military budget officer George Rabusa. Trillanes linked Reyes to Garcia WITHOUT PHYSICAL evidence. Only with Rabusa’s claims as proof.

In short, it was a ONE-WAY DEMOLITION of Reyes’ reputation by Trillanes.

What we should realize is instead of BEING MAN AND CIVIL ENOUGH to admit and apologize for his abuse of Reyes, WITHOUT SOLID PROOF, Trillanes is now trying to cover it up.

This is not just parliamentary abuse anymore. This is EGO TRIP to the max, as in.

That’s why I’m ending this piece with a question for Trillanes:

How about you, guys? What do you think?

It was a nice blog, Boyet. May the truth truly prevail. Until when will  corruption in the military end? I cannot see the horizon. Suntok sa buwan na lang for generations to come. Only God knows what was out there (when Reyes died). Philippine justice? Crap! That's why I left the country. Thank you, for giving an insight. God bless!

THREE of our blogmates on “Best Thing to do for Reyes Family”:

A guy who asked to be called only as ZENDRIX M.:
Can't  agree with you more, Boyet.  The general took the code of silence, to protect his uplines (to borrow the term used in networking) and his downlines which may as well include his wife.

MA. JENNAH MITRA of Quezon City:
Our country is being run by mad people, people full of hatred. It is the only reason why this is happening. The life of Sec. Reyes should be  enough to awaken our politicians to stop their hate campaign against  each other. Our country needs healing and the healing should come from us.

ANONYMOUS:
Too bad, Ms. Jennah. Politicians here do not care if their political enemies kill themselves. For them, it's a "dog eat dog" theory.

RIKKI MARCELINO of Insulan town, Sultan Kudarat on “Reyes suicide highly doubtful”:
One thing can now be said about Philippine senatorial and congressional investigations. They are in aid of suicide.

BHABY SEE of Makati on “Reyes was not determined to die”:
I believe Gen. Reyes is a military man of honor and loyalty to his superior(s) and we all know his superiors. Though Robles may have nothing to gain from the investigation, the nation itself will benefit from it towards "sa tamang daan". 30

  1. Trillanes is hurting inside from what he's gone through. Look into his eyes, galit na galit sya and he wants to get even. What he has forgotten is the fact that he is a lawmaker, a PMAer and should set a good example. I will appreciate him, if he can admit to himself that he has been very arrogant to the late Sec. Reyes. He does not need to admit his guilt in public, maybe he should have kept quiet about the death of Sec. Reyes and should avoid saying anything that will cause more harm to Reyes family.

  2. The Reyes extreme sacrifice is an indication of a true and loyal follower to his superior regardless of what nature. The sad thing about it is the timing and the unfinished mission to expose the real truth and possibly in cleansing his name for his family. Senator Trillanes has only reflected the added "arrogance" of the Senate and its status as getting worst without anyone ended behind bars but only shows "much grandstanding".

  4. If you were following what really transpired in the previous days, Trillanes named Reyes as "one of the big personalities" behind Garcia based on the statements of Rabusa. He never said that Reyes was the one he was talking about when he said that there's someone more powerful behind Garcia.

Sometimes we need to think and understand beyond what's being written/said in the news.

and then we had the general who committed suicide in the face of accusations of plunder hurled against him.

Marahil, ang kalingkingan ang nagsasabi sa atin na tayo ay "walang pakialam hanggat hindi tayo ang deretsahang biktima"; ang palasinsingan naman ang nagsasabi ng ating pagkaka-kulong sa paniniwalang "wag mag-akusa, upang hindi maakusahan"; and the middle finger is saying we are all fucked up because of what the small and ring fingers are telling us.

    One more time: haaay Pinoy!
