ONLY THE HEROIN OWNER WOULD WANT CACAYAN DEAD!

The claim of Tita Cacayan that she has been receiving death threats only boosts suspicions of her possible involvement in the heroin found in the suitcase of her executed recruit Sally Ordinario Villanueva.

For the simple reason that NOBODY would want her dead EXCEPT THE OWNER of the heroin. WHO ELSE would want her to keep quiet? Who else would be at risk from anything she might possibly say?

Consider this: Cacayan dId not ask for protective custody by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) when she first surfaced to deny that she had stuffed the heroin in Sally’s suitcase.

Neither did she complain of death threats then. She even went into hiding after Sally was executed in China. But now that she’s the only one being crucified in public for Sally’s death, suddenly she’s out in the open and her life is in danger.

If indeed Cacayan’s life is in danger, I will immediately rule out the Ordinarios or the Villanuevas as suspects. Even the people who  have sued Cacayan of illegal recruitment.

Simply because they DON’T HAVE THE MONEY for it.

We all saw on television how poor the Ordinarios and the Villanuevas are during the live telecasts on the day of Sally’s execution. And remember, Sally agreed to go to China for the measly P25,000 a month promised by Cacayan as she had declared in her sworn statement before she died.

Victims of illegal recruitment, 99 percent of whom are from the poor, DON’T WANT the culprit dead. They want THEIR MONEY back and they know they can’t get if the illegal recruiter is dead.

And hired killers don’t settle for just P100 or P1,000 as professional fee. Hired killers work only for people with money.

So who else would want Cacayan dead and can afford it?

Nine of our friends on “Don’t single out Willing Willie!”:

JING VILLAREAL of Ibaraki, Japan
We have laws that are specifically meant to protect children from harmful TV content and from being exploited. There's a difference between clean fun and humor and crass exploitation of a child who was obviously forced to do things against his will on national TV. Yeah let's not single out Revillame because we should also castigate the parents who gave their consent. Revillame should be banned from having minors in his show. Banning Revillame from TV would not be a bad idea.

ERIC RIZALDY FLORES
Nice point Sir...we have to be consistent and apply the rules uniformly...Let us not single out “Wiling Willie.”

The point about Willie is child abuse. You're examples of other shows are not similar because the contestants were ADULTS.  I totally agree with you that our television shows are sometimes demeaning to the Filipino culture and heritage. ABS-CBN, TV-5, GMA, etc. are giving the Filipinos the false sense of values.

Laging naka-focus kay Willie kasi top ang program nya. Ba’t  di na lang gumawa ng maayos na program ang DSWD? Allowed ng parents ng bata yong pag dance di ba? At for me,  ang saya lang naman panoorin kasi magaling 30

DON'T SINGLE OUT "WILLING WILLIE! "

If “Willing Willie” is to be condemned for its boy ‘macho dancer’ episode, then let’s NOT SINGLE IT OUT.

Let’s condemn ALL TV SHOWS which MAKE FUN of their contestants  in some of their games -- young or old, rich or poor, boy or girl – FOR NO CLEAR REASON other than to elicit laughter from the audience.

TV game show contestants have been\, USED, EXPLOITED, and HUMILIATED  in various forms and degrees since God knows when. But NOBODY ever RAISED HELL like what is being done now on “Willing Willie.”

For example, In the “Juan for \All, All for Juan” portion of “Eat Bulaga,” there have been instances wherein guys were asked to bring handbags or wear ladies’ shoes .

The winning contestant was asked to thank the staff of Allan K. It’s an OBVIOUIS IINSULT to the intelligence of the winner since it’s public knowledge that ASllan’s staff had has nothing to do with the ame.

In Channel 2, I once saw in the noontime show of Toni Gonzaga and Randy Santiago a game wherein the contestants had to pack themselves like sardines in a single hula hoop and move like penguins.

There are other instances I can’t recall. So the question is Why gang up only “Willing Willie?” If the reason solely is because the subject was a boy, I will have to disagree.

It would be just like saying that if it’s an adult, any DEHUMANIZING or HUMIILIATING ACT is OK. Anybody can correct me but I’m sure EXPLOITATION,. in whatever shape or form, does NOT APPLY only to kids.

I’m not trying to defend “Willing Willie.” Personally, I agree that the show’s bosses like Willie Revillame himself should be disciplined.,

My point is let’s be FAIR AND SQUARE. If we want to correct or punish a wrongdoing, then let’s do it for all concerned. Let’s use the issue as a SOLID BASIS for reforms in TV shows.

Instead of as a PUBLICITY VEHICLE for seekers of instant recognition and fame .

IF LACSON WANTS TO FULLY REDEEM HIS CREDIBILITY...

If  Sen. Ping  Lacson wants to fully redeem his credibility and erase any and all  doubts on his supposed  involvement in the Dacer-Corbito murders, he had better answer a few more questions fast.

Lacson says he has an idea or information on who really is behind the crime, but won't reveal it for now because of lack of evidence.

He made one accusation after another against the administration of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (GMA) with hardly any proof. If he can do it then, why won't he do it now?

Lacson had admitted before he went into hiding that he had met with Cesar Mancao, who’s now the main witness against him, and Michael Ray Aquino in the US. He had said then that the two can vouch for his innocence in the Dacer-Corbito murders.

But WHY DIDN’T HE BRING THEM HOME, at once? Why did he prefer to be under a cloud of suspicion all these years instead of immediately coming out clean of the crime and redeeming his honor.

He had the money. He had the influence. He had the connections and the informants to protect them from threats to their lives, if f there were any.

As I’ve written in an earlier blog, any innocent man would readily grab the very first opportunity to prove that he had nothing to do with what he’s being accused of.

Lacson had claimed that Mancao was only forced by the administration of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (GMA) to implicate him in the Dacer-Corbito murders.

Then why HASN’T HE SUED MANCAO for oral defamation, or libel or grave slander up to now? As well as GMA and any other person who he thinks is responsible?

Especially considering the fact that GMA is no longer in power.

He claims the GMA administration forced the issuance of the arrest warrant against him.

Where’s the proof? What’s his basis? Does he have a witness?

The hunters of Lacson also need to explain something. Lacson said he DIDN’T NEED A DISGUISE during his days of hiding.

Then, what made it so difficult for lawmen to find him? How far did they go in looking for Lacson? How intense was the manhunt?

I’m just going by the facts. I’m not accusing Lacson of anything. We will be hearing a lot of political noise in the coming days on this issue and as I’ve said in an earlier blog,  ask for proof and study it first before you draw your own conclusions. 30

HOW TO PROTECT YOUR KIDS AGAINST DRUGS.

Allow me to share with you another excerpt from my booklet on illegal drugs.

Here’s how you parents can protect your kids from illegal drugs:

BE A FRIEND  to your children. BE READY TO LISTEN when they ask for a private audience with you because they have a problem. If necessary, join them in solving the problem.

If they achieve something, whether in or out of school, openly show your appreciation and be proud of them to your friends and relatives.

A common reason kids turn to drugs is they feel unappreciated or unwanted. They get the impression that they have no one else to turn to, especially in times of trouble.

Learn about illegal drugs, especially its bad effects on the health, and orient your kids about it in the warmest and jovial manner possible. Some kids try illegal drugs simply because they want to know how it feels.

Make it a point to personally know the friends of your kids. Invite them to your home so you can observe them up close.

If you find somebody‘s behavior suspicious, don’t condemn the person but relay your observation to your kids in a caring tone. Kids nowadays tend to be overly protective of their peers.

If you have the time and the means, do a background check on that person.

Inquire from your friends and neighbors on the drug problem, if any, in your area. Get as much details as possible, especially names of alleged pushers and their henchmen, and where they sell their goods.

Then, relay this to your children so they would know who and what to avoid.

Encourage your co-parents in the neighborhood, and if possible In the entire barangay, to form yourselves into an association as common guardians of your kids against drugs.

Meet regularly on the status of the drug problem in your area and share whatever information you know with each other.

And most of all, NEVER EVER AFORGET  to pray for your kids.

LET'S HELP FIND SALLY'S RECRUITER!

LET’S ALL HELP find Sally Ordinario Villanueva’s recruiter Mapet Cortez, a.k.a. Tita Cacayan.

Let’s all keep our eyes WIDE OPEN for this woman before she recruits another Sally for whatever alibi she’ll give.  Let’s SAVE and PROTECT our loved ones from this VERY DANGEROUS LADY.

Cortez has reportedly disappeared following Sally’s death.

She had earlier denied Sally’s claim that she was the one who gave her the suitcase containing the heroin.

Burt if she is indeed innocent, why has she GONE INTO HIDING?

Personally, I tend to believe Sally’s claims.

First, the amount  given her to carry the suitcase containing the drugs was ONLY $500, TOO SMALL for anyone to WILLINGLY execute a crime as serious as drug smuggling.

Same argument for the monthly pay promised her, P25,000, had she not been caught.

Second, in her sworn statement, Sally CONSISTENTLY placed the blame on Cortez, and not on any known enemy of hers or person with whom she had an axe to grind..

She DID NOT CITE ANY GRUDGE against Cortez  from the time they met until she offered her the job of carrying the suitcase to China.

Third, Sally said she had a witness, her husband Hilarion, when Cortez gave her the suitcase and the $500.  Hilarion might be able to provide details which had been overlooked in the probe of the case.

And as I’ve said, Cortez has gone underground despite her claim of innocence.

As long as Cortez is at large, there will always be the danger of another Sally from the ranks of our desperate and needy kababayans.

Until she surfaces and proves her innocence in Sally’s tragedy, the possibility that she is indeed a drug syndicate member must not be forgotten. NOBODY SHOULD TRUST HER.

Join the hunt, guys. The person you’ll save from Cortez maybe your kin, or your loved one.

I can't agree w/ u more bro. I think we need to get these Chinese drug lords and drug dealers put to death, too. It's one way to teach them a lesson that the government is no pushover when it comes to drug-related crimes.

DEATH TO DRUG LORDS AND DRUG PUSHERS!

DEATH to drug lords and pushers.

This is the BEST WAY to STOP these merchants of death and despair from SLOWLY KILLING their patrons with their products or from luring desperate people into the LIVING HELL they’re stuck in.

Drug lords and pushers are the SOURCES, or as in a tree the ROOTS and in business the SUPPLIERS.

They will keep on selling their deadly merchandise whenever and wherever they could. We all have read or heard of news reports of drug lords running their business from jail.

Or drugs being sold to inmates themselves.

In other words, drug lords and pushers CONTINUE KILLING even from BEHIND BARS, with FREE BOARD AND LODGING and GUARDS on the side compliments of OUR TAXES.

Drug lords and pushers will only STOP if they’re DEAD. Their patrons can only be permanently saved if they’ll be GONE, FOREVER.

To those who will argue that death did not stop the illegal drug trade, research first on these:

When drug lord Lim Seng was executed by firing squad in the 1970s, the incidence of drug trafficking drastically declined.  When one pusher after another was found dead in Manila in the ‘80s or ‘90s, the volume of the drug business significantly dropped.

NO ONE can permanently solve the illegal drug problem in ONE CLICK.

What’s IMPORTANT is the number of drug lords and pushers must be REDUCED ROUND-THE-CLOCK.  We do this, we reduce the supply. The lesser the supply, the lesser the problem.

And if it’s a question of the propriety of taking a human life, let’s not forget that even God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and unleashed the Great Flood  during the time of Noah when everybody chose sin instead of HIS WILL.

Very good information for consumption of  Filipinos. This will greatly help in the figtht against illegal drugs, against the financier, the producer, the protector, the pusher, the courier and the user. All of them should be destroyed before they start destroying innocent Filipinos.

MARLENE DAMOLO HOWE Tacoma, Washington, USA

Great tips and it also needs vigilance! It’s important that as a member of the community we are proactive in community development and activities. I personally helped the building of my town's gymnasium so the young adults will have a place to converge in and play sports instead of running around the streets getting into trouble. I don't need to live there to get involve.

CYNTHIA PALANCA of New York, New York, USA

ANNEFORD VERDAN of Quezon City on “PDEA should probe Sally Villanueva’s claims” :

PDEA might have already conducted a thorough investigation of this case since this had happened in 2008. Sally's predicament must have been known to her relatives. Drug-trafficking cases are coordinated with the embassy of the accused person's country andd/or the Interpol (International Police) office as a matter of protocol. For whatever reason, this could  have been kept away from the media..

ROSE CORTEZ on “Pray for the capture of drug mules’ bosses (Updated)” :

Your posts are very informative...dapat talaga mahuli ang mga nagpapakalat ng droga na yan. 30

PRAY FOR THE CAPTURE OF DRUG MULES' BOSSES! (Updated)

Whether you know them personally or not, please pray for the eternal rest of our  three kababayans who were executed in China today for drug trafficking.

It won’t harm you, and it won’t cost you anything. Just say a prayer for the three. Like all of us, they need all the help they can get for the forgiveness of God and a slot in Heaven.

And when you pray, include these two extra intentions – the CAPTURE OF THE DRUG LORDS who recruited them, and NATIONAL UNITY in the fight against illegal drugs.

It’s not the Chinese who killed Sally Ordinario Villanueva, Ramon Credo and Beth Batain. It’s the drug lords who hired them, directly or indirectly. They paid for their lives but the demonic business of their drug lords will go on non-stop.

Their bosses will KEEP ON KILLING with their deadly merchandise.

Drug lords don’t give a damn to whom they sell their merchandise to --- young or old, boy or girl, rich or poor,  anybody is fair game. That means NONE OF US is safe from them.

So for this particular case, let’s all help find the recruiters of Sally, Ramon and Beth. WITH OR WITHOUT A REWARD.

.Let’s all unite and confront  the drug lords head-on.

Not the conventional way with guns or other weapons. Except for the police and the military, we don’t have as many weapons as they have.

But if we will bombard law enforcement agencies with everything we know about the illegal drug trade, or identify every goddamn pusher in our neighborhoods, or even educate our kids on the evils of drug abuse early on, we can shrink the world of the drug lords.

If we deprive them of a market, they will be OUT OF BUSINESS.

Easier said than done? A lot of agencies, especially the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, can teach us how to do it.

ALL WE NEED TO DO IS ASK. NOW!

                                                                        ***

Two of our friends on “PDEA should probe Sally Villanueva’s claims”:

MARLENE DAMOLO HOWE of Tacoma, Washington, USA:

If this has been the case then it should have been investigated thoroughly and cops should not play God with the life of a potentially innocent woman. Her crime is her naivete' and gullibility. This Mapet Cortez should be arrested and investigated. If Sally's claims are true, then Cortez should burn in hell.

NOEMI MONTENEGRO

If you allow yourself to do something illegal or immoral, you should be ready to face and take the consequences. if a suitcase was given to her at the airport plus the $500, I’m just wondering. if it contained drugs, did she hand- carry it or it was checked-in? Why was it not detected at our airport?? in my experiences, hand-carried bags are well inspected. They even open our wallets.  Not unless there are people in the airport who are connected with the drug business. 30
