Good AFP move on Garcia 'miracle'

Thank God the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has declared it will cooperate in the investigation of its former comptroller or finance man Carlos Garcia and his unexplained hundreds of millions.

Good move, guys. Very good.

Let me just add one thing: Instead of waiting for official summons or something before presenting documents or any other possible proof, why not do it now?

Better yet, why not start your own investigation ASAP?

And to IMMEDIATELY and very easily PROVE YOUR SINCERITY, you can start coming out in media, with all the transactions entered into or paid for by Garcia for public scrutiny.

Believe me, gentlemen, the people will take it as you really mean business and that you’re for the truth.

HINDI na iisipin ng Sambayanan na moro-mor lang ang pahayag ninyo at pagtatakpan pa rin ninyo si Garcia dahil kabaro nyo pa rin siya.

Remember, you are the principally aggrieved party in the ‘miracle’ that Garcia pulled off for his own pockets. It’s not just his reputation  but that of the entire AFP which were thrown into a cloud of suspicion and a cesspool of CORRUPTION.

Most of all, acting on your own ASAP will start the wheel of justice for the lowly soldiers who were deprived of a DECENT life in the camps, and on the front.

The soldiers who fought for our freedom with OUTDATED guns and equipment which are either DECADES-OLD or of WORST quality, with LIMITED BULLETS and food RATIONS, with salaries and combat pay which are AMONG THE LOWEST in Government.

While Garcia STEADILY ENRICHED himself with funds intended for their DECENT REPRESENTATION and MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY in combat.

Our soldiers continue to risk their lives, WITHOIUT FEAR OR FAVOR, to preserve our freedom.

Getting to the bottom of the Garcia miracle is the LEAST we can do for them. 30

Two friends of mine, one a balikbayan and the other an overseas Filipino worker, asked me if I would welcome comments or information on other topics not in my posted blog like success stories or achievements of our compatriots both here and abroad.

I would be more than happy to. I assure you I will immediately post it the moment I receive it. Just include your complete name, location and country of origin and email the details to antonio.boyet@yahoo.com or ba0715@yahoo.com.

Stay safe and God bless, everybody. 30
