It’s time to leave Jan-Jan and “Willing Willie” to the hands of the authorities, guys. Let’s move on.
The controversy has been dividing, and continues to divide, people everywhere. While we are all entitled to our own opinions, it’s not us but the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) which will make the final decision.
Continue monitoring the issue if you want. But do so in a TOTALLY IMPARTIAL and OCNSTRUCTIVE MANNER.
Listen INTENTLY to all sides and carefully evaluate their proof or pieces of evidence. Judge for yourself if “Willing Willie” had indeed violated any law or media regulation in the first place and should be really condemned and penalized.
But DON’T PICK a debate with anybody. Pressure the MTRCB if you want to help ensure that it will decide FAIRLY and IMPARTIALLY, WITHOUT FEAR OR FAVOR.
Otherwise, let’s all join forces and devote our time and efforts to more pressing concerns.
Let’s bombard the TV stations with our critiques and observations on their shows that have very poor quality or NO MORAL or SOCIAL VALUES whatsoever.
Let’s demand for reforms, verbally and in writing. If the TV stations won’t listen, let’s BOYCOTT the STATION ITSELF and its advertisers.
Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but there is NO CLEAR-CUT definition of CHILD ABUSE. Time to ask our honorable senators and congressmen for one.
And when we do talk to our congressmen and senators, we had better ask them what have they done, or are doing, to even ease our burdens and pull us out from poverty.
Let’s start finding out what are they doing to regulate oil price increases and minimize the GREED OF OIL FIRMS, or how do they intend to bring down the prices of basic commodities and electricity.
We have a lot more important problems than Jan-Jan and “Willing Willie.”
If we can go after our lawmakers and government officials for our needs with the same intensity and vigor we have in debating on Jan-Jan and “Willing Willie,” believe me guys we can make miracles. 30
