ALARMING REACTION TO DROP IN PNOY'S FAME!

President Aquino’s rating has further dropped in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey, from 74n to 64, but Malacanang would only say that the President still enjoys support.

This is a VERY ALARMING reaction.

Common sense will tell anyone that the drop in ratings means there are problems or concerns that are not being effectively addressed by Pnoy’s administration, thus the increased dissatisfaction of the people.

But Malacanang would not admit this.

Instead of humbly vowing to look into the possible reasons and work harder to correct these, Malacanang even proudly claimed that the reduced ratings were still historically very high.

This implies that they’d rather not listen to the people’s dismay which is being conveyed by the drop in the rating.

That as far as they’re concerned, they’re doing the right thing or the better option and therefore, WE CANNOT, IF NOT SHOULD NOT, EXPECT CHANGES, or reforms, not immediately that is.

Leo Larosa, a researcher for SWS, was quoted in the Philippine Daily Inquirer as saying that respondents in earlier surveys had been dismayed by rising inflation and perceptions of slow progress in the justice system.

Anybody correct me if I’m wrong but I have not heard of EVEN ONE sweeping and long-term economic reform to curb or reduce inflation. Instead of dropping, prices of practically every food stuff is steadily rising – rice fish, pork, chicken, vegetables, you name it.

Not to mention, among others, costs of education and transportation. For the justice system, cases still drag on for ages like the Ampatuan massacre.

Case backlogs are still a common sight in courts and worse, we all know that Malacanang is not really in a harmonious working relationship with the Judiciary.

If anyone can give me concrete details of reforms, or better yet accomplishments by Pnoy’s boys, I will immediately come out with a blog about it.

In any sector or concern, not just the Judiciary or inflation.

Otherwise, boys and girls, we had better start asking or writing Pnoy for an update on what has his administration accomplished in the past one year.

Better yet, Pnoy and his allies in the Senate and in he House of Representatives.

Don’t be shy or afraid to do it, whether in writing, directly or through their friends, It would also be an interesting topic among you and your friends.

Accomplishment meaning something WHICH HAS ALREADY HAPPENED OR BEEN IMPLEMENTED, and resulted in something good for the people.

And not just what has been and still remains a pledge by anyone.

If Pnoy and his boys won’t listen to the surveys, they should listen to us. If they don’t, we’re in BIG TROUBLE boys and girls. Believe me

Meron silang pinakita na old map na nagsasabi na sa kanila ang mga isla. Two years ago they presented that claim in the UN .pero di tayo nagreact. It took us two years bago tayo nagsalita

It's the reason why they are willing to use their military power to defend their claim, considering that they have no legal papers to prove that they are the rightful owner. Our country, too, cannot produce one, other than its proximity. Let's remember our history that America, Philippines and other nations were claimed too upon their discovery. Yet, I still believe that the problem should be settled peacefully rather than violently.

If you know how to use Google earth (or even a local map,) check ninyo po kung gaano ka-close sa atin Spratlys. Parang Bonjing na Bullly (ang China) na gusto mangagaw ng candy. But Spratlys is not a candy. Nice blog post.

DANILO TEOFILO of Manila

Better to let Undersecretary (Rico) Puno, and LTO chief Virginia Torres to resign. If they don't, Pnoy must fire them now!.

Wala tayong magagawa. Ka-buddy iyan ni Pnoy.

The 15 percent from the man's earning to be given to the ex-wife FOR THE KIDS' support is so meager. It must be 60 percent or higher.

DELI FRANCE

Any argument for divorce is highly premature, if not a waste of time of Congress that legislators and their legal advisers should know. Instead, Congress should use its time to review all laws, especially those that are obsolete, outdated and unconstitutional

KEITH HARWORTH

Divorce was allowed in the Bible, so a marriage gone severely wrong is not inviolate. However, the arrangement mist be agreed upon by the couple with no interference by any man.

I totally agree with you. Let’s settle this peacefully without any provocation from both sides. 30
